Logic - the 27-year-old rapper born Sir Robert Bryson Hall II - burst onto the music scene through a series of mixtapes that led to a significant, rabid underground fan base. His tapes - Young, Broke, and Infamous; Young Sinatra; Young Sinatra: Undeniable; Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever – garnered millions of downloads and streams, jumpstarting a worldwide tour all before signing a record deal with Def Jam Recordings in 2014.

Mixtapes

Logic has released five studio albums, one soundtrack album, six mixtapes, 35 singles (including 13 singles as a featured artist), and three promotional singles. In December 2010, Logic released his debut mixtape, Young, Broke & Infamous. Logic released his second mixtape, Young Sinatra, in September 2011, which included the song, "All I Do". Logic later released the mixtapes, Young Sinatra: Undeniable, in April 2012 and Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever, in May 2013.

Albums

As of early 2020, Logic has released five studio albums in his entire career. Two of which have won Gold in Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), namely Under Pressure and The Incredible True Story. Later down the line, he released Bobby Tarantino I & II, Supermarket, Everybody, YSIV and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. He has since collaborated with many popular artists such as Eminem (in the track "Homicide), Joyner Lucas (in "Isis"), Wiz Khalifa (in "Indica Badu"), and more.

History

Raised in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Logic developed an interest in music as a teenager, and ventured into a musical career in early 2009, releasing Logic: The Mixtape and a mixtape titled Young, Broke & Infamous in 2010. He then signed with Visionary Music Group, and subsequently released three additional mixtapes over three years. His fourth mixtape, Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever (2013), was released to critical acclaim and allowed Logic to secure a recording contract with Def Jam Recordings.
